ELIZABETH CITY, NC - The Elizabeth City State basketball team (1-2) would cruise past the Mustangs of Mid-Atlantic Christian (0-5) on Wednesday evening at the R.L. Vaughan Center.
The Vikings would be led by freshman
Xavier Tubbs-Matthews and Sophomore
Jaquantae Harris. Tubbs-Matthews would lead all scorers with 15, Harris would add 14 shooting 71% from the field.
Reggie Raynor would play big down the stretch accumulating numerous blocks and be on the receiving end of two beautiful alley-oops.
The Vikings would cruise and make it to the century mark on the scoreboard.
The Vikings return to action as they will play Mount Olive and Barton College this weekend in the annual pickle Classic hosted at Mount Olive University.
