ELIZABETH CITY, NC- The reigning CIAA champions secure a quarterfinal victory on Tuesday evening against the Rams of Winston-Salem State.
(16-25, 17-25, 25-23, 17-25).

On a night where the 2022 championship banner would be unveiled in the R.L. Vaughan Center leader Elizabeth Kellum and Simone Newell would show up big for the Vikings providing 24 kills, 6 blocks, and 20 assists collectively. Clarke Blakemore would record 4 blocks individually and Naijya Leggett would tally 17 digs.

The Vikings will face off with St. Augustine's on Saturday at the A.C. Jordan Arena, on the Campus of Bowie State, for the CIAA semifinals at 4:30 PM.
