Box Score ELIZABETH CITY, NC- On a night filled with excitement and pink. The Elizabeth City State volleyball Vikings would return to the Vaughan Center, for their home opener versus the Bowie State Bulldogs 2-17 (0-6 CIAA). The Vikings would dominate in three straight sets 
(25-18, 25-16, 25-16) and improve their record to 7-10 (4-1 CIAA).

In the first set, the Lady Vikings would secure a 25-18 victory and establish their dominance from start to finish not allowing a lead change. The Vikings would record 16 kills to Bowie's 3 in that first set.

The second set would be a Destinee Davenport show providing 11 pts including a service ace and a block. The lady Vikings would go on to secure the second set with a score of 25-16.

The Lady Vikings would be led in this set by Elizabeth Kellum and Andrea Rose. The Vikings proved to be too much in the third set for the Lady Bulldogs to secure the set with a score of 25-16. 

Lady Vikings return to action on Sunday, October 8 at Lincoln (PA). First serve is set for 1 PM.
