ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. - The Elizabeth City State volleyball team secured their first CIAA conference win over Virginia Union in five sets 3-2 (25-20, 25-18, 15-25, 22-25, 10-15) in the R.L. Vaughan Center Thursday night. The team improves to a .500 season (6-6 overall, 1-0 CIAA) as the panther drop to 3-4 overall (0-1, CIAA). This is the fourth straight win for Elizabeth City over Virginia Union since 2019.
