BOWIE, Md. – The Elizabeth City State women's softball team dropped a pair of conference games as they concluded the regular season portion of their scheduled Sunday at Bowie State.
 
On the day, the Lady Vikings were led by sophomores Zeta Brown and Sikia Korneagy with three hits each.
 
Freshman Karrigan Belangia added a pair of RBI's in the first game while Korneagy, junior Isabel Mugaas, sophomore Joanna Duhudaway and Junior Kennedi Williams added one RBI. Bowie State used a four-run second and fifth inning to earn the 14-6 win.
 
In the second game, ECSU was held to four hits and one run as the Bulldogs won 10-1.
 
ECSU will find out their post-season plans in the coming days as the CIAA championships get underway on May 3, 2022.
