RICHMOND, VA- The Elizabeth City State volleyball team finalized their last regular season game of the year with a 3-0 win over the Panthers of Virginia Union on Thursday night in Barco-Stevens Hall. The Vikings finish the year with a 23-8 season and tout an impressive 15-1 conference record after securing 14 straight wins which ties the Vikings to the reigning school record for the most consecutive season wins in program history (2008 team, HC. Linda Bell). Virginia Union falls to 12-11 on the regular season and move to an even 8-8 season. The Vikings will seed at the number two spot for the quarterfinals of the CIAA Volleyball Championship. The team will face the number seven seed, St. Augustine's on November 7th, at 6 p.m.
