Elizabeth City, NC - No. 1 Elizabeth City kept their winning streak alive and improved to 5-0 in CIAA conference play with a sweep of Lincoln University (PA.), 25-8, 25-22, 25-8, on Thursday at Manuel Rivero Hall in Pennsylvania.   
 
The Vikings outhit the Lions .391 to -.095 with 33 kills to the Lions 15. ECSU was outstanding from the service line, finishing with 12 aces in the match. 
 
Junior Elizabeth Kellum (Jacksonville, NC) led Elizabeth City with six kills, two blocks, 10 assists, and five digs. Junior Aasia McNeil (Statesville, NC) and Mariah Griffin (Virginia Beach, VA) both finished with five kills. Senior setter Asia Jones (Rocky Mount, NC) finished the evening with 14 assists followed by Kellum with 10.

The Vikings travel to Petersburg, Virginia on Monday, October 11th to resume conference play against Virginia State University at 6pm.
