ROCKYMOUNT, N.C. - The Vikings fell short on the road against North Carolina Wesleyan College on Saturday. The Vikings dropped both games of the double header action.

Game 1: ECSU 0, North Carolina Wesleyan College 8
Game 2: ECSU 0, North Carolina Wesleyan College 13

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Game 1:

• In the top of the first inning the Vikings struck out. 
• The Battling Bishops had two runs and two hits. Having Winstead hit a single, advancing to second base and Mize tripled to right field, RBI; Winstead scored and Mize scored on a passed ball. 
• ECSU grounded out in top of second. 
• Vikings gained a walk by Komives and  Stevens hit a single to left field advancing to second on a error by left field at the top of the third .
• ECSU gained one hit in the top of the fourth, with Wright hitting a single to center field,  Blackwell gained a walk advancing Wright to second base. 
• The Battling Bishops Mooney hit a single to center field, RBI; Winstead scored. Mize singled to left field, RBI; Mooney scored. Molivas doubled to left field, 2 RBI; Braswell and Mize scored in the bottom of the fourth. 
• At the top of the fifth the Vikings struck out. 

Game2 

• Vikings struck out in the top of the first.
• N.C. Wesleyan achieved 5 runs, 1 hit and 2 LOB's in the bottom of the first.
• ECSU grounded out in the top of the second inning and struck out in the top of the third and fourth innings.
• Philips for the Battling Bishops hit a single to center field, RBI; Molivas advanced to third; Braswell scored.
• Battling Bishops gained five runs and hits, with 1 LOB.
• The Vikings grounded out in the last inning.
