Box Score WILSON, N.C. -- The Elizabeth City State University volleyball team dropped a non-conference matchup to Barton College on Tuesday evening by a 3-0 score (25-14, 25-14, 25-15).

The Vikings improved their hitting percentage in comparison to their contest against UNC Pembroke where the Vikings hit .047 as ECSU hit at a .177 percentage against the Bulldogs.

The Vikings were led in kills by Kaylee Williams and Jahera Dangerfield who both had five kills a piece. Ma-Tewah Tamba, Jahera Dangerfield and Alexis Blackwell all had one kill a piece for ECSU. Asia Jones paced the Viking effort in assists (9) and digs (6).

ECSU will be back in action at home on Thursday night as the Vikings will face off against Regent University in their home opener at 6:00 p.m. inside of the R.L. Vaughan Center.
