LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa.  – The Elizabeth City State men basketball team fell 76 - 66 to Lincoln University (PA) in Manuel Rivero Hall Wednesday evening.

With the loss, the Vikings fall to 10-10 overall and 6-3 in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association; while the Lions improve to 12-8; 5-4 in conference action.
ECSU capped the first half-shooting 27.8 percent from the floor, 30 percent from behind the arch, and 60 percent from the line; while Lincoln shot 48 percent from the field, 50 percent from downtown, and 85.7 percent for the charity stripe.
The Lions outscored the Vikings 14-to-7 points in the paint; while ECSU led LU in bench points 13-to-6 and in second chance points 10-to-4 during the half. Lincoln led by as much as 10 points with 3:46 remaining in the half; while tying the game twice. Both teams collected 12 points in the paint.
The Vikings closed out the game shooting 31.8 percent from the field, 31.6 percent from downtown, and 75 percent from the line; while the Lions shot 46.3 percent from the floor, 36.8 percent from behind the arch, and 82.6 percent from the foul line.
