RICHMOND, VA -- The Elizabeth City State University Volleyball team dropped a close match to Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association North Division rival Virginia Union University 3-0 on Monday night. The Vikings fought valiantly but eventually Virginia Union was able to pull away for the straight set win in the final road contest of the regular season for ECSU.

The Vikings were led by D'Kota Hinton-Louis in kills and aces with five and two respectfully. 

ECSU will close out their regular season by hosting Virginia State on Friday, November 2nd at 6:00 p.m. inside of the R.L. Vaughan Center. The Vikings will be honoring their senior class as well during the contest.
