ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. - The Elizabeth City State University volleyball team is set to host rival Chowan University Thurs-day, September 21 for its home opener at 6 p.m. in the R.L. Vaughan Center.

The Lady Vikings enter the contest 0-11 on the season and is 0-3 in conference play. Jahera Dangerfield leads the Vikings with 31 kills. Dangerfield also leads the squad with 48 digs. ECSU is twelfth in the conference averaging 4.87 kills per set and 6.6 points per set.

Chowan is coming off a 1-2 weekend in CIAA play picking up their first win of the season against St. Augustine's in the opening match of the CIAA Round-Up.

The Vikings recently dropped three during the CIAA round-up in Bowie last weekend but is looking to capture its first victory on the season.
