ELIZABETH CITY, NC- The Lincoln University Lady Lions picked up a win in the CIAA Northern Division with a three set sweep of Elizabeth City State in volleyball action Sunday afternoon at the RL Vaughan Center.

The scores for the match were 25-16, 25-12 and 25-18. The Lady Vikings have been swept in each of their eight games this year as they continue to search for their first victory of the season.

It is the Lady Lions first win over the Lady Vikings since Lincoln "officially" rejoined as a member of the CIAA in 2010. ECSU is still searching for their first win of the 2015 season.

Jillian Lee led the way for the Lady Lions with a team high 10 kills as Lincoln improves to 2-5 and 2-3 in conference play. As a team Lincoln racked up 11 services aces and had only 9 attack errors versus 29 kills.

Emmesha White finished with a team high 13 kills while Chelsey Elliott and Jasmine Arthur finished with 9 kills apiece.

ECSU will host Bowie State University tomorrow at the RL Vaughan Center with game time scheduled for 6pm.
