CHARLOTTE, NC- Elizabeth City State University's Chelsey Elliott has been named CIAA Player of the Week as released by the CIAA Office Thursday afternoon.

In the Lady Vikings' first win of the year, a five set rally over Bowie State last week, Chelsey was ECSU's standout performer. The freshman middle hitter had a career high 18 kills in the Lady Vikings' come from behind victory. ECSU trailed two sets to none before rallying to win in five sets. She also had 2 solo blocks, an assisted block and a service ace in the win.

Elliott, a native of Elizabeth City, is majoring in Sports Management at ECSU.
