Final Stats

ELIZABETH CITY, NC- Rosetta Becerra had a season high 17 kills as the Elizabeth City State University volleyball team steamed past Lincoln University (Pa.) Sunday night at the RL Vaughan Center.

Lady Viking swept the Lady Lions in straight sets (25-17, 25-15, 25-12) in a match that took just 66 minutes.

The victory also snaps a three game losing streak and gives ECSU their first CIAA Northern Division win of the season. The winless Lady Lions (0-4, CIAA 0-4) posted only 13 kills for the game, four less than Becerra's individual effort.

Lincoln also hit a negative percentage in the match (13 kills vs. 26 errors) at -.155.

Lady Viking sophomore Emmesha White had her best offensive showing of the year with 9 kills while Kelsey Smith added 7 kills and 4 service aces.
