ECSU VOLLEYBALL DROPS THREE SET DECISION TO UDC

WASHINGTON, DC- The Elizabeth City State University volleyball team suffered their first setback of the year with a three set loss to the University of the District of Columbia (25-14, 25-18, 25-18) Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Firebirds used a balanced attack game and were efficient totaling 41 kills versus only 13 errors. In each of the three sets they registered double figure kills for .326 percent. On the other side, ECSU never got going with 15 errors and 21 kills.

Tara Usko and Jazmin Rogers led the Lady Firebirds with 9 kills each while Morghan Stallings and Whitney Green tied for high honors for ECSU with 7 kills apiece.
