HAMPTON, VA- Three members of the Elizabeth City State University volleyball squad have been named to the 2012 Preseason All-CIAA as released by the conference office Wednesday afternoon.

Outside hitters Morghan Stallings and Whitney Green along with sophomore right side hitter Kyla Shute all received preseason nods to the team which is selected by the CIAA Volleyball Coaches' Association.

Whitney Green, an automatic preseason honoree as a First Team All-CIAA performer in 2011, led the Lady Vikings in kills and total attacks last season as a sophomore. Morghan Stallings and Kyla Shute earned All-CIAA Second Team honors last season and Shute doubled he accolades by landing on the 2011 CIAA All-Rookie Team.

Shute lead the team in aces during her 2011 freshman campaign while Stallings finished the year ranked fifth on the team in kills per game. The Lady Vikings finished last season in second place in the CIAA Northern Division and an 18-12 overall mark.
