Final Stats

ELIZABETH CITY, NC- Chowan University's Nikira Fults tallied a game high 16 kills as the Hawks downed Elizabeth City State University in straight sets (25-20, 25-18, 25-18) Wednesday night at the RL Vaughan Center.

ECSU suffers its third straight setback as they slip to 5-3 in the CIAA Northern Division. The Hawks improve to 15-6 overall, 12-1 in the CIAA and sit atop the CIAA North at 8-0.

Karina Monroe and Monica Ruffin chipped in with 10 kills apiece for Chowan. The Lady Vikings' offense sputtered on Wednesday night, as a team totaling only 24 kills versus 19 attack errors. Kelsey Smith was ECSU's high player on the evening with 6 kills.
