HAMPTON, VA- The Elizabeth City State University Lady Vikings posted a 5-1 record at the 2011 CIAA North/South Volleyball roundup this past weekend at the Boo Williams Sportsplex.

ECSU defeated Shaw University (3-0), Winston-Salem State (3-1), Johnson C. Smith (3-0) and Fayetteville State in a rally 3-2. The Lady Vikings suffered their only setback of the weekend at the hands of Saint Augustine's College in a 5-set rally, 3-2 before wrapping up the weekend with a sweep of Livingstone College.

This Wednesday, ECSU (7-8, CIAA 5-1) will begin Northern Division play when they travel to Murfreesboro, NC to take on two-time defending CIAA Champion Chowan University.
