HAMPTON, VA- Two members of the Elizabeth City State University volleyball team have received weekly honors by the CIAA as announced Monday afternoon.

Freshman outside hitter Whitney Green has been named CIAA Rookie of the Week. In the Lady Vikings' divisional win over defending CIAA Champion Chowan University, the Greenville, NC native tallied a team high 15 kills. ECSU Coach Linda Bell has been named CIAA Coach of the Week as the Lady Vikings are the only team in the CIAA that is undefeated in conference play. ECSU is currently on an 11 game win streak and are in first place in the CIAA Northern Division.
