PHILADELPHIA U TOPPLES LADY VIKINGS 3-0 AT KU TOURNAMENT

KUTZTOWN, PA-The Philadelphia University Lady Rams handed the Elizabeth City State University Lady Vikings a loss via a three-set sweep (25-20, 25-17, 25-13) at day one of a tournament hosted by Kutztown University.

Nicole Berkstresser powered the way for the Lady Rams (4-1) with a game high 12 kills. The Lady Vikings hit a negative percentage from the floor (-.010) accumulating 28 kills versus 29 errors yet were stout defensively as they fielded 116 digs off of the Lady Rams attacking game. Xie'Ara Maybank-Smallings led ECSU with 9 kills versus no hitting errors.
