LADY VIKINGS DOWN MOUNT OLIVE IN FIVE GAME RALLY

ELIZABETH CITY, NC- The Elizabeth City State University volleyball rallied from two games down to take a five-game rally match over Mount Olive College 11-25, 23-25, 25-22, 26-24, 15-8.

Lia Scott led the Lady Vikings with a team high 12 kills. Scott and Eva Johnson both added a game high 14 digs apiece. Mount Olive was paced by Racey Bartley who finished with a game high 22 kills. Kailey Preece and Caitlin Skislak contributed 14 and 11 kills, respectively.

Defensively, the Lady Vikings totaled 9 team blocks to 2 for Mount Olive. The Lady Trojans fall to 0-5 on the season.

ECSU (2-3) will return to action at tournament hosted Kutztown University. The Lady Vikings will face Philadelphia University on Friday and will take on West Chester University and the host Kutztown University on Saturday. For more information on ECSU Athletics, visit www.ecsuvikings.com.
