Final Stats

HICKORY, NC- The Elizabeth City State University volleyball team split the first two games of the 2009 season Friday afternoon at the Lenoir-Rhyne Invitational.

The Lady Vikings dropped their opener in four games (3-1) to Limestone College 28-26, 25-21, 19-25, 25-20. ECSU then bounced back against Belmont Abbey College in a five-game rally match 18-25, 25-20, 19-25, 25-20 and 15-13.

ECSU will take the floor again tomorrow at 10:00am against Pfeiffer University and will wrap up the Invitational when they battle Wingate University at noon. For more information on ECSU Athletics, visit www.ecsuvikings.com.
