Final Stats
ELIZABETH CITY, NC- Eva Johnson, the reigning CIAA Player of the Week, recorded 11 kills against zero errors as the Elizabeth City State University Lady Vikings swept Virginia State University (25-16, 25-21, 25-11) Tuesday evening at the R.L. Vaughan Center.
Current CIAA Rookie of the Week Chelsea Amick led all scorers with a game high 12 kills, as ECSU won their tenth straight match. The Lady Vikings sit atop the CIAA Eastern Division and are undefeated in conference play. ECSU improves to 14-6 overall.
The Lady Trojans were led by Jasmine Davis who had 9 kills as Virginia State slips to 6-8 overall and 4-4 in the CIAA.
