ECSU SWEEPS LINCOLN UNIVERSITY OF PA 3-0

ELIZABETH CITY, NC- The Elizabeth City State University Lady Viking volleyball team used exactly one hour to defeat Lincoln University of Pennsylvania (25-11, 25-9, 25-16) Thursday evening at the RL Vaughan Center.

As a team the Lady Vikings had 28 kills versus only 10 hitting errors to the Lady Lions who had a negative hitting percentage (-1.50)with 16 kills against 28 errors. ECSU rested some of their starters for sets two and three and no Lady Viking tallied double figures in kills. Jennifer Hendy led ECSU with a team high 6 kills while Lincoln's Donneisha Smith topped all scorers with 8 kills.
