HAMPTON, VA- Elizabeth City State head volleyball coach Linda Bell has been named the 2008 CIAA Coach of the Year.

Bell who is in her fifth year at the helm of the Lady Viking volleyball program has guided ECSU to the best record in school history of 26-9 and for the first time is undefeated against CIAA opponents. This year ECSU captured the CIAA Eastern Division for the second straight year.

The Lady Vikings who are the top seed in the CIAA Eastern Division, will begin the quest for the school's first ever CIAA volleyball crown today at 11:00am when they face Johnson C.
