HAMPTON, VA- The Elizabeth City State University volleyball team will open up the 2008 CIAA Volleyball Tournament against Johnson C. Smith University Friday, November 7th against Johnson C. Smith University.

The top seed in the CIAA Eastern Division, ECSU must win two matches in double elimination pool play on Friday to advance to the semi-finals on Saturday. After facing JCSU at 11:00am on Friday, the Lady Vikings will take the court again at 3:00pm against Virginia State and will wrap up the day versus Saint Augustine's College at 7:00pm.

If they advance to the semi-finals as the top seed out of their Pool (Pool A) the Lady Vikings will face the #2 seed out of Pool B in the first semi-final game at 5:00pm on Saturday. If they come out of Pool A as the #2 seed they will matchup against the top seed of Pool B at 7:00pm.
