Final Stats

ELIZABETH CITY, NC- The Elizabeth City State University Lady Viking volleyball team improved to 10-5 overall with a 3-game sweep of Virginia State University Thursday night at the RL Vaughan Center.

With the victory, the Lady Vikings pick up their eighth sweep of the season and improve to 7-1 in the CIAA. They are currently in first place in the CIAA Eastern Division.

As a team ECSU more than doubled the kill output of their opponent 40 to 15 and served up 20 service aces. Eva Johnson and Christina Hager led the way for the Lady Vikings with 9 kills each while Stacie West and Rookie of the Week Xie'Ara Maybank-Smallings each contributed 7 kills apiece.

Reneisha Hill paced the Lady Trojans (4-7 CIAA 3-4) with 7 kills and 5 digs.
