Final Stats
RALEIGH, NC- The Elizabeth City State University volleyball team picked up two wins Saturday with victories over Peace College and Salem College.
In game one the Lady Vikings downed Peace College in a rally match 3-2 (23-30, 30-26, 26-30, 30-17, 15-11. Even Johnson led the way with 13 kills and 8 digs while Ashley Tarasoff paced the offense with 19 assists and 5 service aces. Shamica Phillips and Megan Melchiorre chipped in with 10 kills apiece for the Pacers.
In their second game of the day, ECSU earned their second sweep of the week (Barton College 8/29) by upending Salem College in three games 30-21, 30-20, 30-17. Christina Hager finished with 8 kills versus only one hitting error, 2 digs and three solo blocks. With the win, the Lady Vikings even their record a 3-3 overall and are on a three game winning streak.
