Final Stats

WILSON, NC- The Elizabeth City State University Lady Viking volleyball team loss their fifth match of the year, falling to Barton College in four games, 30-26, 28-30, 30-21 and 30-13.

At the hands of the Lady Bulldogs, the Lady Vikings saw their five-game winning streak come to an end. ECSU, who will host Virginia Union University Wednesday night at the RL Vaughan Center, falls to 5-5 overall and 3-0 in the CIAA.

A look at each team's totals in the kill/error columns from the game's box score pretty much sums up how they faired respectively. The Lady Vikings were almost even with 38 kills versus 31 errors while the Lady Bulldogs nearly doubled their kill/error output 61 to 32. Keauna Vinson led the way for Barton with 22 kills and 14 digs. Tanika Hudgins paced the Lady Vikings with 15 kills and 12 digs.

The Lady Vikings will return to action on Wednesday, September 13th as they will host the reigning CIAA Eastern Division Champions, the Lady Panthers of Virginia Union University.
