ELIZABETH CITY, NC- Ashley Tarasoff has added another accolade to her freshman campaign as she currently ranks 18th in NCAA Division II Volleyball for Service Aces.

Hailing from Castlegar, British Columbia, Ashley has also received CIAA Rookie of the Week honors twice this season. Throughout the 2006 season, Ashley has accumulated 50 service aces with an average of 0.69 aces per game. Last week against the Virginia State Lady Trojans, she paced the ECSU offence with 30 assists and 6 service aces. The Lady Vikings now hold a 2nd place seed in the CIAA Eastern Division with a record of 6-1 and an overall record of 12-9.
