DURHAM, NC- Tanika Hudgins, a freshman on the ECSU volleyball team, has added another honor to what has become an impressive athletic resume'.

After three games in the 2005 CIAA Volleyball Tournament, Hudgins has been named to the All-Tournament Team. Earlier this week she was named the 2005 CIAA Rookie of the Year after garnering Rookie of the Week honors three times in 2005. She was also named CIAA Second Team Honorable Mention as she led the Lady Vikings to their first CIAA tournament since 2001. Although ECSU was ousted in the double elimination tournament with losses to Saint Augustine?s and Virginia Union, Hudgins turned in a career best in the victory over Johnson C. Smith with 17 kills.
