Navarro Mathis is a graduate of Elizabeth City State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in December 2025. During his undergraduate career, Mathis gained extensive hands-on experience with the ECSU football program, serving as a Football Operations and Equipment Intern from 2022 to 2025. In this role, he assisted with equipment preparation and inventory, team travel logistics, practice and game-day setup, scouting materials, and the overall organization of football operations.
In January 2026, Mathis transitioned into his current role as Director of Team Equipment, Video, and Operations for the Elizabeth City State University football program. He oversees and supports the program’s equipment and video operations while assisting with team travel, facility preparation, inventory management, and home and away game logistics. His experience has developed a strong foundation in equipment management, organization, problem-solving, and the day-to-day operations of a collegiate football program.
Mathis is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Elementary Education at Elizabeth City State University, with an expected graduation date of December 2027. He continues to combine his educational pursuits with his passion for collegiate athletics while contributing to the success and daily operations of the ECSU football program.
