Elizabeth City State University Athletics

Jaelyn Jackson serves as the Coordinator of Student Success and Wellness and Assistant Softball Coach at Elizabeth City State University (ECSU), where she combines her passion for athletics, education, and student development to support student-athletes both on and off the field. A former collegiate student-athlete, Jackson attended Claflin University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Education while competing as a pitcher for the Panthers’ softball program. During her playing career, she distinguished herself in the circle, earning First-Team All-Conference honors as a pitcher.

Following graduation, Jackson transitioned to coaching as an Assistant Softball Coach at Claflin University, where she mentored student-athletes and supported their athletic and personal development. Jackson continues her professional journey at ECSU, where her dual role allows her to positively impact the complete student-athlete experience through academic achievement, wellness, personal development, and athletics. Drawing from her experiences as a student-athlete, educator, and coach, Jackson remains committed to developing well-rounded student-athletes and preparing them for success both during their collegiate careers and beyond competition.
