Elizabeth City State University Athletics

Korey Hill enters her first year at Elizabeth City State University, serving a dual role as the Interim Head Softball Coach and Administrative Assistant. A Virginia Beach native, Hill brings a strong background in athletic administration, operations, and student-athlete support, along with firsthand experience as a championship-level student-athlete.

Hill earned her bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Saint Augustine’s University, where she was a member of the women’s softball program. A versatile two-way player, she pitched and played in the outfield and was part of the 2015 CIAA Softball Championship team — the first conference title in program history. She later completed her Master of Science in Sports Administration at Liberty University.

Professionally, Hill has gained experience across multiple facets of collegiate and professional athletics. She previously worked at Norfolk State University, assisting with game-day operations, facility management, and event coordination, and also served in player operations with the United States Tennis Association during the US Open. Hill's operational experience combined with her background as a former student-athlete provides a well-rounded foundation as she steps into her dual role with ECSU Softball.
