Forbes, a Camden, NC native, is fairly new to the Viking family but has hit the ground running with the Lady Vikings Softball program. Her past athletic career is full of accolades from the high school and college level. Having a heavy background in baseball, Forbes had to shift to softball for the first time as a freshman in high school. From that point forward she hasn't looked back and built a wonderful career being named from All-Conference to All-State, then moving onto play for Richard Bland College and Roanoke College.

Earning her Bachelor's in Sport & Exercise Science from Roanoke, Forbes has applied her degree and knowledge of the game to ECSU's softball program. She's determined to remain a student of the game and evolve as the game does to give her players the best competitive edge. She's also an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer and is pursuing her next certificate as a strength and conditioning specialist to further her knowledge and aid the softball program's progression to future success.

Although young, Coach Erin has found herself in the best possible position to share her passion and love for the game. Holding several captain and coaching titles over the past 5 years, Forbes is confident in the positive direction she'll be leading the Lady Vikings and expects nothing less than hard work and perseverance.
