NCAA DII Coaches Certification Test
The NCAA Division II Legislation Committee will select different modules every year for a coach to complete for the annual NCAA DII Coaches Certification Test. These modules will be grouped into the Coaches Certification Curriculum on Division II University and will be released roughly April 1, annually. Each course will include the five-question test the coach must pass to successfully complete the module. If a question is missed, the quiz cannot be retaken for 24 hours. If a coach has previously completed one or more of these courses, they will have to complete the course again once the new modules have been released.
This year’s courses must be successfully completed by July 31, 2022, in order to be certified to recruit off-campus and to direct, observe or supervise countable athletically related activities (CARA) during the 2022-23 certification period which runs from August 1, 2022, to July 31, 2023.
Coaches will access Division II University through NCAA My Apps and the NCAA Learning Portal. The Learning Portal will track which courses have been completed. Courses can be taken via the NCAA Learning Portal through a standard internet browser (with the exception of Internet Explorer) on the device of their choosing (mobile devices, tablets, laptops or desktops).
