WILSON, N.C. – The Elizabeth City State Vikings rallied in the seventh inning of the nightcap but was unable to capitalize in a doubleheader loss to Barton in non-conference road action on Sunday afternoon.

Karrigan Belangia and Allison Perry led the Vikings tallying three hits on the day. Perry notched a pair of doubles and a run scored, while Belangia went 2-3 in game one with a double.
Eboni Bailey and Ema Cebrian collected two hits each.
Karma Fields, Sophia Simmons, Courtney Ward and Reagan Seelye tallied one hit each.
Seelye would take the loss in the circle in game one with two strikeouts. Camdyn Peck would keep the Bulldogs at bay in the nightcap until the sixth inning scattering two hits in the first five innings.
