ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. – The Elizabeth City State Women's Tennis team opened their CIAA slate with a 5-2 loss to Bluefield State in league action on Saturday afternoon.

Nyla Barnes and Karrigan Belangia picked up a tough fought win at No. 2 doubles, 7-6, before Bluefield State secured the doubles point.
Karrigan Belangia and Kennedy Rollins rallied from falling in the first set in their respective singles to forcing a third set where both Vikings won the set 10-7.
