RALEIGH, N.C. – The Elizabeth City State Lady Vikings Softball team picked up a statement victory against Livingstone on the second day of the CIAA Round Up on Friday evening, 15-3, behind a strong offensive outing.

Eboni Bailey led the Lady Vikings with two hits, with a double, and two walks to go with four RBI. Ema Cebrian, Karma Fields, and Emma Fleming collected two hits each. Fields added a double and two walks.
The Lady Vikings notched six doubles while Jamia Guilford hit a home run. ECSU added nine walks on the evening.
ECSU used a strong second inning to plate four runs before taking a 9-0 lead in the fifth. The Lady Vikings tacked on six more runs in the sixth to push through for the run-rule victory.
Shaina Lugo picked up the win in the circle allowing one hit and working around eight walks.
