ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. – The ECSU women's tennis team dropped a pair of conference matches to VUU Saturday afternoon by the scores of 4-1 and 4-2.

Andrea Nevola and freshman
Juelle St. Clair claiming a 6-0 victory, the doubles point went to the Panthers as they won at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions. In the No. 2 doubles, freshman
Alexis Neathery and sophomore
Keeley Weber battled, but eventually fell 7-5.
In singles play, the lone victory came in top post as Nevola blanked Rudell Octave 8-0. The No.2 match-up between St. Clair and Joydan Parker proved to the match to watch as they went back and forth, but it was Parker who edged the 8-5 win.
In the second match, which was a rescheduled event from earlier in the season, it was the tandem of Nevola and St. Clair winming decisively, 6-0. However, once again, VUU wins at the No. 2 and No. 3, gave them the doubles points.
