Final Stats
ATLANTA, GA-The Elizabeth City State University baseball team opened up the 2011 season with a win over Morehouse College, topping the Maroon Tigers 8-1 Saturday afternoon.
Senior pitcher Sadarius Lewis earned his first win of the year, holding the Tigers to just one run in four complete innings. Kyle Meads hit a 3-run homer in the top of the 5th to put the game out of reach and Charles Lenoir came in to relieve Lewis in the bottom of the inning and pitched three scoreless innings. Freshman Michael Duck went 3-for-4 in his collegiate debut with 3 RBI.
