Final Stats

ORANGEBURG, SC- The Elizabeth City State Vikings scored six runs in their half of the first inning and never looked back en route to a 20-5 win over Claflin University at Minrow Field.

With the win the Vikings (6-5) remain perfect on their South Carolina road trip which will conclude with a double header at Benedict College on Thursday.

ECSU added two runs in the top of the third and four runs each in the 4th, 7th and 8th to dominate the Panthers (7-13). The Vikings scored 20 runs on 14 hits and 2 Claflin errors. Gustavo Arcia led the way for ECSU going 4-for-5 and a season high 6 RBI.
